If there is one thing that I have known from an early age, it’s that I love a man who knows how to do “manly things.” When I was genuinely young, I was attracted to women with a lot of emotions but not several practical skills.
After my first couple of guys, I realized that I wasn’t a giant fan of wearing the britches in the relationship.
I didn’t cherish feeling like I was responsible for knowing how cars toil & when they require service service. I hated being out on a walk at night & realizing that I was the only one carrying any kind of protection. And I particularly wasn’t a fan of needing to call out a professional to perform routine service around the dwelling because my girl had no idea what she was doing. From that point on, I started focusing on finding individuals with real skills. Now, I find myself in a bind, torn between an Heating & Air Conditioning company & a car mechanic. I don’t know who to choose & I don’t want to break anyone’s heart. I never expected to get myself into this situation when I signed up for an online dating service aimed at local tradesmen. Right away, I started setting my preferences for boys who knew about home repair, including Heating & Air Conditioning services, and handy mechanics. Soon, I was dating a particularly great woman who appreciated coming into my dwelling & fiddling with my heating, cooling, & ventilation unit before every date. She was regularly bringing over current air filters or messing with the settings on my temperature control temperature program to optimize my energy expenditure. I never even had to ask him to vacuum the ductworks. The problem is, at the same time I started falling for a skilled car mechanic. He’s particularly done wonders for my old Corolla. I know I need to choose one or the other, but right now I have particularly been enjoying all of the free service.
