I have a buddy that is super handy but cheap and lazy; He never does the quality of work that he is capable of, then the guy can fix anything.
- He is great in electrical, plumbing and Heating and A/C.
The guy even worked for a building company for a few years! In the end, he entirely just wanted to get on disability and milk the government for money. His dream is to live without having to work, but well he married himself to a nice older lady that takes care of the bills and he just squats at her house. The negative to his dream is that he is at the apartment all afternoon. His wife keeps trying to get him to do handy stuff around the house. I saw his newest fix which was the height of laziness and just awful. The roof had obviously leaked to the point of getting a immense hole in it. His wife wanted him to fix the roof or hire a roofing company. Instead he used a funnel and a garden hose to filter out the water from the house. He also put up a tarp over the hole. There, done, he said. Isn’t that awful? Can you imagine how cold the apartment must get in the winter? The water detriment in the ceiling that is going to happen? I talked to his wife and said that she needed to hire professional roofers… She keeps thinking her guy is going to step up and do the job. She can forget it. No way will he get off his butt and do the work.
